How you can help

Many homeless people feel invisible. When you see someone who may be homeless or are approached while walking, make eye contact, say hello, or offer a smile.

Volunteer in your community.

Contact a shelter and ask how you can help. For a list of shelters in your area go to www.ns.211.ca.

Contact the Housing and Homelessness Partnership and let us know where your interest is in helping, and we will point you in the right direction.
